Winner of the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for drama and described by Edward Albee as "...the greatest American play ever written," the humble setting of Grover's Corner, New Hampshire becomes the backdrop to a poignant portrayal of how simple moments can provide the deepest echoes throughout our lives.  Written by Thornton Wilder, Our Town is highly regarded as America's most acclaimed and produced drama. 
 

 

 

Auditions for FTC's fall production,  Our Town are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, August 17th and 18th at 7pm at the Steve W. Shepherd Theater, located at 1668 South U.S Hwy 87 in Fredericksburg, TX. All roles are available for auditions. Casting Requirements: A minimum of 14 men and 7 females, various ages and types.

Auditions will be conducted by cold readings from the script. Scripts for Our Town can be checked out at the theater's office starting Monday, August 2nd. The checkout period is 48 hours. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 9am to 1pm.

Attendance to technical week rehearsals October 12th-15th is mandatory, as well as attendance to all performances. Performance dates are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays October 16th-Nov. 1st and Thursday, October 29th. For any additional information or questions please call the FTC office at 830-997-3588.
