Measure for Measure

The EmilyAnn Theatre is holding auditions for our Fall Shakespeare production of Measure for Measure. No prior experience with performing Shakespeare needed.
Measure for Measure will be directed by Kevin Gates. The roles of Isabella and Mistress Overdone are cast. All other roles are open.
The show runs all weekends in September.
Auditions are Monday, June 27 at the theatre, 1101 FM 2325, Wimberley, Texas 78676. Email bridget@emilyann.org to schedule an audition appointment.
There will be cold readings of scenes from the play at auditions, as well as an opportunity to audition with a Shakespeare monologue if you'd like. Headshots and resumes needed if you have them, but not required.
A note from director Kevin Gates:
If you've never done a verse play before, PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID. If you can count to ten and speak English, you can do Shakespeare. I am very happy to work with people of all experience levels.
