AUDITION INFO
- Email The Vex to request an appointment.
- Prepare a comedic monologue of your choice, not to exceed one minute in length.
- All roles are open and will be cast as volunteer positions.
PERFORMANCES
- Show Dates: August 20 – September 13, 2015
- Performance Times: Thursdays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 8:00pm, Sunday matinees at 2:30pm. (Tentative evening performance on Sunday, 9/6 @7:30pm.)
- Call times are 1 hour before curtain.
REHEARSALS
- Rehearsals will begin with a few read-throughs and table work sessions in late June. Regular rehearsals will begin mid July.
- A typical Vex rehearsal schedule is Monday- Thursday 7pm-10pm. Friday and weekend rehearsals are scheduled as needed throughout the rehearsal period.
- The final two weeks and weekends of rehearsals include technical and dress rehearsals with the full company called.

- BERNARD – a Parisian bachelor, male, late 20s to 40s
- GLORIA – an American air hostess, female, mid 20s to mid 30s
- BERTHE – Bernard’s housekeeper, female
- ROBERT - a friend of Bernard’s, male, late 20s to 40s
- GABRIELLA – an Italian air hostess, female, mid 20s to mid 30s
- GRETCHEN – a German air hostess, female, mid 20s to mid 30s
LOCATION: The Sheldon Vexler Theatre at 12500 N.W. Military Highway, San Antonio, Texas, 78231 (The Vex is located in the back of the building. Drive around to the left and follow signs to enter through the back doors.)
