Trash
by Puppet Improv Project

Sep. 13 (2014)

Seeking performers for Trash, an original, eco-friendly puppet musical that presents a monster lesson for kids (and their adults) to reduce, reuse, recycle. The show features a harmless compost pile that feeds off the city's thoughtless waste and quickly morphs into a mutant trash heap that threatens to consume everything. Company states: “PIP combines muppet-style puppetry with both scripted text and improvisation to create an interactive theater experience that is truly unique. We are seeking performers who are interested or have experience in musical theater, improvisation, and/or puppetry.”

Rehearsals begin the first week in October; performances Friday Nov. 14th and Saturday Nov. 15th at One World Theater in Austin, TX.

Performers will receive a stipend.
