Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story

Before the Beatles or the Stones ever played a note, Rock and Roll was forever changed by the bespectacled kid from Texas. Buddy tells the true story of Buddy Holly through his short but spectacular career.
Auditions will be held Sunday, April 13th, starting at 6 pm, and Tuesday, April 15th, starting at 6:30 pm. Callbacks will be held Wednesday April 16th at 6:30 pm. Rehearsals will begin on or around April 21st. Performances will begin June 27th and end August 3rd, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. All auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at the Palace Theatre. Saturday matinees and Sunday evening performances may be added.
Auditions will be comprised of a one minute monologue, and please prepare a song that highlights your singing/musicianship. Bringing instruments (of the appropriate variety, no kazoo's please) is encouraged. An upright Bass will be available.
Do NOT come to this audition unprepared. It will be nearly impossible to consider you for a speaking role if you do. Callbacks will be by invitation only, consist of readings from the script and songs from the show. All types, ethnicities and sizes are encouraged to audition
