Marjorie Prime by Jordan Harrison is a moving drama set in the near future. Eighty-five-year-old Marjorie, whose memory is beginning to fade, spends time with a handsome young companion programmed to look and sound like her late husband in his prime. As family members share memories with these artificial intelligences, questions begin to emerge: Which stories are preserved? Which memories are forgotten? And who gets to decide?
NON TRADITIONAL CASTING ENCOURAGED
The audition will be open with all participants together. We will utilize a "workshop/master class" format to encourage dialogue and exploration.
