Ever wondered what would happen if you took Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire tale and put it into a blender with Mel Brooks, Monty Python, and The 39 Steps? That’s just what happens in this lightning-fast, laugh-out-loud, 90-minute, gender-bending romp. When her sister Mina falls ill with a mysterious disease of the blood, Lucy Westfeldt and her fiancé, Jonathan Harker, enlist the help of famed female vampire hunter Doctor Jean Van Helsing. Their hunt for the dangerous and sexy Count Dracula abounds with clever wordplay and quick-change antics.
Five actors play over a dozen roles in this bloodcurdlingly hilarious send-up of the literary classic.

ACC Drama is holding auditions for our upcoming Fall 2026 production of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors by Gordon Greenberg & Steve Rosen

Auditions are open to all ACC students and the community. You do not need to be an ACC student to audition.
Roles are uncompensated.
Casting a diverse ensemble of 5. Character Descriptions are on audition form.
Taped submissions will be accepted until 10 PM CST on Sunday, August 30th. Please prepare a 1 ½ -2 minute contemporary comedic monologue. Please include a resume/headshot.
Callbacks will be in person at 7 PM on TUESDAY, September 1st at ACC Highland Campus Building 2000 Black Box. Callback notifications will be sent no later than Monday, August 31st.

September 8th-October 15th
MTWTH 7:00 PM-10:00 PM
Saturday rehearsals TBD
REHEARSALS will be held at Highland Campus Black Box Theatre
PERFORMANCE RUN: October 16th- November 1st
Fridays & Saturdays 7:30 PM
