Cats

The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year – the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.
Come one, come all...to auditions for Harbor Playhouse's production of Cats! 
If you love to dance, Cats is the show for you! This show has many opportunities for both featured dancers and the ensemble to shine through dance!
If dancing's not really your thing, or if you need a less-intensive rehearsal schedule, we are also giving the opportunity to audition for our Pit Chorus! Auditioners who are exclusively interested in being part of the Pit Chorus will only need to participate in the singing portion of the audition, in which they will prepare a song selection from those listed on our website. They are NOT required to participate in the dance portion of the audition.
FOR ALL OTHER ROLES: Auditioners will learn a short dance combination with the choreographer at the audition and perform in small groups for the production team. They will also prepare one of the music selections from the website to perform. If you are interested in being considered for both pit chorus and a named role, you must be prepared to participate in a singing and dancing audition.

Auditions will take place Monday, May 18th, and Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 at 6:30 PM, and are open to ages 16 & up! Please note: auditioners only need to attend one night of auditions.
