The enterprise? Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. A tasteful operation involving elegance, deception, and a certain…….entrepreneurial spirit.

I find myself in need of… associates.

Nothing so gauche as “actorssss,” of course. We’re assembling a small, highly specialized circle of individuals with a talent for charm, persuasion, and the occasional creative interpretation of the truth.

Our mutual acquaintance, Director Sherri Small, will be conducting interviews.

Dates:

• April 25, 2026 1–5 pm

• April 26, 2026, 6–10 pm

Appointments are required. We do try to keep things highbrow.

 

If you’re unable to appear in person, arrangements can be made.

What you’ll need to demonstrate:

• A musical selection (1–2 minutes — something that suggests you can command a room)

• A comedic monologue (timing is everything in this line of work)

• You may be asked to read……spontaneously

Engagement runs: July 17 – August 9

Compensation will, of course, be provided.

A refined gentleman of impeccable taste (Lawrence)

A quick-witted upstart with more charm than caution (Freddy)

A woman who appears far more innocent than she is (Christine)

A loyal and efficient right hand (Andre)

A woman of means who knows her own value (Muriel)

A bold presence who cannot be ignored (Jolene)

And a number of supporting players, without whom the illusion collapses
