Shakespeare’s most magical comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream brims with romance, mischief, and laughter. Young lovers flee into the forest, only to be caught in the playful chaos of fairies, mistaken identities, and a band of bumbling actors. The result is a joyful celebration of love and imagination.

Light-hearted and family-friendly, Midsummer invites the whole community to gather under the Hill Country sky and share in a night of wonder, laughter, and renewal.

June 5&6, 2026 – Playhouse 2000 and the City of Kerrville present the 2026 Shakespeare in the Park production, the Bard’s beloved romantic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, at 8 pm 

Shakespeare in the Park is a free event, open to the public in our beautiful Louise Hays Park.
