Auditions are open for Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!, a high energy, joy filled production based on the beloved Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems. This interactive show brings laughter, imagination, and connection directly to young audiences across our community.

We are looking for bold, expressive performers who love to move, make big choices, and bring characters to life in a way that sparks joy and inspires kids.

Auditions FOR DON'T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS - WACO CIVIC THEATRE TOURS

We’re looking for versatile performers who are strong movers, expressive actors, and confident singers—artists who aren’t afraid to be a little silly and connect directly with young audiences. This professional touring production travels to local schools, offering a unique opportunity to perform meaningful, impactful theatre while inspiring the next generation of performers.

WHAT TO EXPECT At Auditions

Please submit 30 seconds of a song of your choice in your audition form.

The first read-through is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.

Rehearsals will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

The stipend ranges from $300 to $500, depending on the role assigned.

The tour will run to local schools from May 11 through May 15, with performances taking place in the mornings only.

Please note that actors must provide their own transportation, and all actors will be required to complete a background check.
