New Directions One-Act Showcase

Gaslight-Baker Theatre is casting New Directions: One Act Showcase, featuring FOUR short plays ranging from laugh-out-loud comedy to intense ensemble work. Actors can be cast in up to two plays!
Audition Date: Saturday, February 21
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (arrive a few minutes early to check in)
Auditions: Group cold readings from the scripts. No preparation required, though knowing the plays helps!
The Plays:
Help Desk by Don Zolidis – Chaos at the customer service desk! (4 actors, any gender)
Dickens Condensed by James Armstrong – ALL of Dickens in ONE hour! (1 woman, 4 men)
Laundry and Bourbon by James McLure – Southern charm, gossip & laughter. (3 women)
The Candidate by Brent Holland – A tense, high-stakes ensemble piece. (5 actors, any gender)
Performance Dates: May 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24
Two plays per night, each play performed four times
