Dear Edwina
by Waco Civic Theatre

Jan. 11

Dear Edwina follows 13-year-old Edwina Spoonapple, a musical advice-giver extraordinaire—think a spunky, singing version of Dear Abby—as she sets her sights on the Kalamazoo Advice-a-Palooza Festival. With help from her siblings, quirky friends, and neighbors, Edwina turns her family garage into a stage, tackling the world’s biggest (and funniest) problems through song—from birthday party etiquette to proper table manners.

Building on the success of last year’s teen showcase Six the Musical, Waco Civic Theatre Academy is thrilled to announce auditions for Dear Edwina, a heartwarming and hilarious musical from the creators of Junie B. Jones The Musical.

This upbeat, ensemble-driven show celebrates growing up, finding your voice, and taking the spotlight, making it a perfect opportunity for teen performers to shine.

We’re looking for teens with big energy, strong voices, and a love for storytelling. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, we’d love to see you at auditions!
