Parade
by Ground Floor Theatre
Jul. 30 - Aug. 23
Parade is a powerful and haunting musical based on the true story of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager accused of murdering a young girl in 1913 Georgia. As the sensationalized trial unfolds, the musical explores themes of justice, prejudice, and redemption with a sweeping, evocative score by Jason Robert Brown.
Parade contains depictions of violence, racial and religious bigotry, and strong language. These elements are handled with care and historical context.
Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score in 1998 and best revival in 2023.
