Two Short Plays about Logical Madness
by Noah Masterson and L.B. Deyo.

Jul. 25 - Aug. 01

Two Short Plays About Logical Madness is a sharp, surreal theatrical diptych exploring obsession, reason, and the fine line between brilliance and delusion.

In Act I, two playwrights —both named Edmund—compete for the same theatrical residency, only to be outwitted by the sorority girls they try to impress.

Act II leaps across time and space to 19th-century Dahomey, where a feverish Captain Richard Burton and his companion Bombay confront jungle terrors, a hallucinatory double, and the implacable Amazons of West Africa. With wit, music, and mounting madness, the play satirizes the perils of reason divorced from reality and the absurdities we commit in its name.
