The VORTEX is seeking courageous artists of any color, race, age, or gender to participate in urgent, unashamed art in “the Pursuit of Happiness” for our 2025-26 season. Also seeking Deaf Actors and folks fluent in ASL. Global majority/BIPOC artists, non-binary, and transgender artists are encouraged to audition. Performers receive stipends (varies). Paid crew and design positions are also available.

Preparation:
Please prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue
If applicable, please demonstrate ASL, juggling, circus skills, or gymnastics.
Please bring 3 hard copies of your resume. Headshot optional.
