King o' the Moon
by Wimberley Players
Jul. 13 - Jul. 14
As the historic Apollo 11 mission prepares to touch down on the moon, Pazinski family members finds themselves orbiting around their late father's memory, only to crash-land into a whirlwind of hilarity and heartfelt chaos. In this sequel to Tom Dudzik's Over the Tavern, audiences will be treated to a delightful exploration of familial bonds that are as tangled as the stars in the night sky. With every scene brimming with laughter, love, and a bit of lunacy, the Pazinski household becomes a microcosm of our own struggles, reminding us that navigating the challenges of family life can sometimes feel like a journey to the moon and back.
"Dudzick’s play will no doubt at some point be referred to as a Catholic’s Brighton Beach Memoirs, with its lovable down-to-earth family members and well-timed comedic happenstances. Yet it is original and real -- a slice of Americana that helps us all remember what being a family is all about." - David Fielding
