The Tempest
by Shakespeare in the Park Kerrville

Apr. 13 - Apr. 14

A terrible storm at sea lands a small group of castaways on an island where “Prospero,” a wizard, lives with his daughter “Miranda,” and his two servants: “Caliban,” a savage monster figure, and “Ariel,” an airy spirit. Music and poetry evoke the island’s spirit of enchantment as we explore themes of magic, betrayal, revenge, and family.

Tivy High School’s Tech Theater teacher Jessica Sturm will once again adapt and direct this exciting and magical play that many believe is the very last that Shakespeare created.
