The Egg
by Noah Masterson

Oct. 16 - Oct. 26

THE EGG is a comedy set in a bizarre future in which a new technology upends the lives of a woman who lays eggs and a man whose face grows feathers. (Feel free to read that again. It still won't make sense.) THE EGG explores themes of secrecy, authenticity, art, technology, and immortality. It's a fast-paced, hilarious romp, totally original and absurd, with bits of stand-up comedy, creepy dolls, mime, and iambic pentameter. Something for everyone!

SEEKING: Actors, directors, theater owners, producers, deep-pocketed sponsors, lighting technicians, prop masters, sound designers, musicians, stage managers, janitors... anyone who wants to be involved. If you want to participate or read the script, shoot me an email.

THE EGG: First Reading

Enjoy -- or participate in! -- the first public read-through of THE EGG! For this event, we're looking for viewers *and* readers. We are also seeking cast and crew for FronteraFest 2025, where a short version of the play will debut, followed by the full version in summer 2025. So who knows — this might be your chance to tread the boards!
