HOLIDAY HEROES AUDITION NOTICE

ZACH Theatre is currently seeking actors of all ethnicities for our upcoming production of Holiday Heroes. Non-Union actors local to the Austin, Texas area particularly encouraged to submit. In-person auditions will be held on September 19th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Nowlin Rehearsal Studio at 1426 Toomey Road, Austin

REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

Rehearsals will be Monday - Friday, 9 am - 12 pm from November 18th - 26th. Tech will take place on December 1st from 8 am -1  pm.

Performances for schools and families will begin in the Topfer Theatre on Monday, December 2, 2024 and take place Mondays through Saturdays weekly with the final performance on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Weekend performances will be at 11 am. Weekday matinee performances will be at 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Actors should audition only if they will have daytime availability November through December of 2024.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION:

Actors will sing Feliz Navidad and accompany themselves on the guitar. Each actor should bring their own guitar to the audition. Sides and Feliz Navidad chords can be found at THIS LINK. 

Actors will be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. For an in-person audition slot please visit THIS LINK to schedule an appointment. All actors should bring a hard copy headshot and resume to the audition.

We are seeking a non-AEA actor.

ROLE TO BE CAST:

Rufus: (male or female, 18-45): A goofy, well-intentioned employee of a department store who likes to sing songs and make mischief. This actor must be able to sing and play the guitar.
