BEAUTIFUL and EVITA

Auditions for a role in BEAUTIFUL and EVITA with The Harlequin on Apr 13 through Apr 14.The Harlequin is thrilled to announce auditions for our sensational summer productions: EVITA & BEAUTIFUL (The Carole King Musical). 
AUDITION DETAILS
April 13 - 3:00-6:00 April 14 - 1:00-4:00
Location: Alamo City Arts Studios 
(located at 2800 NE Interstate 410 Unit 307 San Antonio, TX 78218)
Performers please prepare 32 bars (a verse and chorus) of a song in the style of the show you are auditioning for. If auditioning for both productions, choose the song style you do best. If auditioning for the role of Eva Perón in EVITA we would prefer you sing a song from the show. Please bring tracked music for your audition. We will have Bluetooth connectivity available for you. Note an accompanist will not be provided. If you choose, you can audition a capella….we just want to see what you can do. We are looking for singers and dancers for both productions. All roles in both productions are open except the role of Carole King in Beautiful, which has been precast. 
For BEAUTIFUL The Carole King Musical, we are looking for performers to pay homage to The Shirelles, The Drifters, Little Eva, Neil Sedaka & the Righteous Brothers.
Individuals of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to audition for all roles! Auditions are only for performers 17 and up for these productions. Please bring a headshot and résumé to your audition.
To set up your audition, please email us at TheHarlequinSA@Yahoo.com with your preferred date. Auditions will be scheduled on a first come basis. We will respond with a confirmation of your audition time. If unable to attend please email your video audition to the address above by noon April 13th for consideration. With your video submission, please let us know which production(s) you are auditioning for. 
Rehearsals for Evita are scheduled to begin May 13 with show dates. June 21 - July 13 (no shows July 5,6 or 7 due to holiday weekend) Rehearsals for Beautiful are scheduled to begin July 8 with show dates Aug 23 - Sept 7. 
Both productions will be directed by Shawn Kjos.
