We're off to see the wizard! This beloved tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has entertained audiences for generations. Open auditions attract actors, singers and dancers of all ages from the Greater Austin area and beyond. Over the years LTMT has developed an excellent reputation among patrons for high quality productions, among cast and crew members for an incredible and passionate experience, and among theatre students for unparalleled growth and opportunity.

Auditions are open to adults, teens, and youth 6th grade and older (Children's auditions will be held March 7th - click here for details regarding Children's auditions.)

Please bring a headshot and resume to your audition

Please wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes of some kind. We do not have a separate dance audition. Your audition will include dancing.

Please be prepared to sing. You may bring a phone or bluetooth speaker to play music of your choosing. We may not have you sing the entire song, 16 bars is usually enough, but we may want to hear more.

Please make yourself familiar with the songs from the show.

Please be sure to indicate on the audition form if you will or will not accept any role.

You will be notified by email regarding casting, rehearsal scheduling, and general cast information.

Optional Audition Workshops
LTMT Director Barbara Graham will host audition workshops to provide opportunities to become more familiar with her and the show.
ADULTS, MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Each workshop is $10 per person, payable by cash or Venmo at check-in. No registration required to attend workshop.
WORKSHOP 1

Times:
• Middle School and High School Students from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
• Adults from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm
WORKSHOP 2
Date: March 9th, 2024
Location: Lago Vista Dance Studio, 20811 Dawn Dr Suite 601, Lago Vista, TX 78645
Times:
•Middle School and High School Students from 10:00 am - 11:30 am
•Adults from noon to 1:30 pm
CHILDREN AGES 7 - 5TH GRADE
