SEEKING:

[KEN JENNINGS (JEOPARDY HOST) LOOK-ALIKE / AUSTIN CONVENTION CENTER] 
White man, 30-50 years. Seeking Ken Jennings (Jeopardy host) look-alike, seasoned actor with STRONG HOSTING, COMEDIC, IMPROV AND STAND-UP skills a HUGE PLUS. Talent will host a Jeopardy-like game show booth and work with attendee contestants. The script entails typical Jeopardy style Q/A format plus housekeeping remarks and general crowd gathering duties/announcements. Cue cards and or teleprompter will be provided. PLEASE NOTE, talent WILL NOT recruit contestants as there will be brand ambassadors who will fulfill that duty. MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN, TX. ALL TERMS ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE

Rehearsal Date: 3/9 (4 hours)
Event Dates: 3/10, 3/11, 3/12, 3/13
Rate: $600/8 hrs + $200 (rehearsal) + 10% + gas reimbursement + free parking + lunch

White man, 30-50 years. Seeking Ken Jennings (Jeopardy host) look-alike, seasoned actor with STRONG HOSTING, COMEDIC, IMPROV AND STAND-UP skills a HUGE PLUS. Talent will emcee the corporate general session and the Jeopardy-like segment of the event as well as interact with a small audience. Cue cards and or teleprompter will be provided. PLEASE NOTE, talent WILL NOT recruit contestants as there will be brand ambassadors who will fulfill that duty. MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN, TX.  ALL TERMS ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE

 

Rehearsal Date: 3/11 (4 hours)
Event Date: 3/12
*Rate: $300/4 hrs + $200 (rehearsal) + 10% + gas reimbursement + free parking + lunch

*Possible upgrade to a full day session at $600/8

 

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • DEADLINE TO SUBMIT SELF-TAPE: 9pm EST, Wednesday 2/7
  • Submit two separate tapes (do not combine to one tape)

 

TAPE #1 (SELF-TAPE)

  2. Wardrobe is upscale business. Make-up and hair is natural, neat and professional and face, clean shaven (if possible).
  3. Mid-shot frame, top of head to waist.
  4. Please check to make sure you are in focus and well lit against a clean, simple background with very clear audio.
  5. Label file: SXSW_Full Name_Self-Tape

TAPE #2 (SLATE)

  1. Close-up shot (top of head to chest)
  2. State name, height and location base. Seeking local talent only as there is no budget for hotel or gas reimbursement outside of Austin, TX. 
  3. State your vaccination and booster status
  4. State if you are willing to be clean shaven for the event (if you are not able to do so for the self-tape).
  5. State, “I agree to the full buyout and in perpetuity terms”
  6. Label file: SXSW_Full Name_Slate
