Can't make it in person? We're accepting video auditions! Email by midnight Nov 10th.San Antonio, prepare for the return of the legendary musical, Chicago! After over a decade away from San Antonio's theater scene, grasp this golden chance to shine and become a part of the momentous Harlequin 50th season!

 

Please prepare 32 bars or a verse and chorus of a song in the show's style, and bring your pre-recorded track (Bluetooth connectivity available). You can email your track in advance while setting up your audition time slot as well. Sing a cappella if you prefer, we just want to see what you can do. Please note there will be no accompanist available at this audition. 

 

 Don't forget your headshot and resume if you have one. All ethnic and cultural backgrounds are welcome to audition. Performers aged 17 and up for this production. 

 

 Audition Dates:

- Saturday, November 4th, 2023, 5:00-9:00 PM

- Sunday, November 5th, 4:00-8:00 PM

 

 Dancer-only auditions on Sunday, November 5th, from 3:00-4:00. This is for dancers ONLY. Our singers will learn a dance combination at a separate time. Dancers will learn a brief combination in the style of the production. The dance combination will be taught and dancers will then be broken up into small groups for audition purposes. We have a short amount of time. Please do not be late & wear appropriate dance shoes.

We will respond with a confirmation of your audition time. If unable to attend please email the address above for special arrangements. Dancers, there is no need to sign up for a time slot. Please arrive Nov. 5th ready to dance at 3 PM sharp. 

 

Location: Alamo City Arts Studios (2800 NE Interstate 410 Unit 307, San Antonio, TX 78218)

 

Rehearsals begin the first week of December, under the direction of Shawn Kjos. The show runs Feb 9 - Feb 18. Shows Friday & Saturday 7:30, Sunday 2:00
