One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall
by Playhouse 2000

Oct. 15 - Oct. 16 (2023)

As suggested by the title, eight vignettes revolve around a single night in a suburban shopping mall, with a mix of comedy and poignancy that provides a thoroughly enjoyable evening of theater and a warm embrace of the holiday season.

It's not to early to start thinking about AUDITIONS for P2K's final Season 2023 production, the charming One Christmas Eve and Evergreen Mall, which will run in the VK Garage Theater December 1 through 17, 2023.

In a unique twist, this play will have four separate directors, each responsible for a part of the script, which is a series of vignettes created in 2022 by playwrights Lynne Halliday, James Hindman, Arlene Hutton and Craig Pospisil.

The directors are Jesirae Kessler, Brad Gilbert, Emily Olson and Jeffrey Brown.

Auditions will be heard in the Werlein Annex Studio on Sunday, October 15 at 2:30 pm and Monday, October 16 at 6:30 pm. (It is not necessary to attend both auditions.)

Roles available include a wide variety of characters played by at least 3 men and 3 women (one pair each 20's, 30's, and 40's or thereabouts) - and potentially many more.

Scripts are available for perusal at the P2K office inside the VK Garage Theater.
