The Plaids are back in an all-new holiday show! Filled with Christmas standards that have all been “Plaid-erized,” our boys are back to do their Christmas Special. At first, Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky aren’t sure why they’ve returned to Earth for another posthumous performance, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they’re needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world. This truly “heaven-sent” holiday treat will lift audiences’ spirits and fill them with nostalgia for a bygone era of classic music sung in perfect harmony. (Rated PG for Adult Situations)
Auditions for FTC’s winter musical Plaid Tidings will be held Sunday and Monday, October 1 & 2 at 6:00 p.m., at the Steve W. Shepherd Theater, located at 1668 Highway 87 South in Fredericksburg. The production will be directed by FTC Artistic Director Courtney LeFan. Actors are asked to prepare a 50’s style/crooning song either with karaoke tracks or sheet music for the accompanist, and will also be reading selections from the script.
Performances are December 8, 9, 15 & 16 at 7:30 p.m., and December 10 & 17 at 2:00 p.m.
