White Christmas

Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, “White Christmas” is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.

Snow, snow, snow! It's time for auditions for White Christmas! Prep a song from the Golden Age of Broadway and come with your dancing shoes on! Remember, only ages 16 and up can audition for this one!
For musicals, auditioners are generally required to:
- bring a prepared song in the style of the show to sing for the Music Director/Vocal Coach
- be prepared to dance a short combination of steps for the Choreographer
- read a scene (sometimes a “cold” read, sometimes the script is available in advance for the Director
Auditions are public, though potential cast members are frequently divided into numbered groups to facilitate seeing as many actors as possible.
For White Christmas:
- Please sing a song from the Golden Age of Broadway era (i.e. Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Lowe, etc.)
- Be prepared to learn a small dance combination.
- Expect cold reads of sides from the show.
