Pride and Prejudice (full-length, devised)

This classic, intimate, and sometime cinematic portrait of Regency England has presented itself as a challenge to some of the greatest theatre makers of generations before, so, naturally, we're here to take a stab at it!
We're looking for an ensemble of up to eight multidisciplinary artists to perform each and every role to, at times, perfection. The piece will be devised by the ensemble, and does require a familiarity with the themes and story of the book.
Auditions will be held by appointment in person at the Austin Motion Media Arts Center on Tillery Street on April 22nd and 29th, 2023. If you cannot make it to one of these dates, please reach out to us and we'll figure something out. Please note the Center has a very strict mask/vaccination policy. In order to participate in the show, we'll ask that participants are vaccinated as well.

No need to prepare anything ahead of the final confirmation email. You'll be sent a set of untraditional sides 24 hours before your audition begins. Prepare for fun!
