Auditions for a role in Mary Poppins with Lake Travis Music Theatre on Mar 05 through Mar 18.

Lake Travis Music Theatre is holding open auditions for a summer stock musical production of Mary Poppins!

Show Dates:  June 16-18 and June 23-25, 2023
Show Location: Lago Vista ISD Performing Arts Center
Rehearsal Location: Lago Vista


Date: March 5th, March 12th, and 18th, 2023 (possible call backs March 19th or 26th)
Location: Rolling Hills Community Church, 6201 Lohman Ford Road, Lago  Vista, TX
Audition Registration: Please complete the online form (click HERE, go to bottom of page) to register to audition and then select an audition time from this sign up.

Additional Audition Information:

  • Auditions are open to adults, teens, and youth aged 9 and older

  • Please bring a headshot and resume to your audition

  • Please wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes of some kind. We do not have a separate dance audition. Your audition will include dancing.

  • Please be prepared to sing.  You may bring a phone or bluetooth speaker to play music of your choosing.  We may not have you sing the entire song, 16 bars is usually enough, but we may want to hear more. 

  • Please make yourself familiar with the songs from the show.

  • Please be sure to indicate on the audition form if you will or will not accept any role. 

  • You will be notified by email regarding casting, rehearsal scheduling, and general cast information. 

  • Lake Travis Music Theatre, Inc. is a community theater and not-for-profit 501C3 organization. At this time, we do not pay our actors.

  • Audition workshops are available but are not required. Workshop audition details can be found below.

 

MARY POPPINS AUDITION WORKSHOPS

LTMT Director Barbara Graham will host optional audition workshops March 4th and 11th to provide opportunities to become more familiar with her and the show:

Date: March 4th and 11th, 2023

Location: Lago Vista Dance Studio, 20811 Dawn Dr Suite 601, Lago Vista, TX 78645

Times: 

  • Youth and teens ages 9 to 15 from 10:00am to 11:30am

  • Adults and Teens 16+ from 11:30am to 1:00pm

  • All ages tap workshop from 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Fee: Each workshop is $10 per person, payable by cash or Venmo at check-in.
