Performance 1: April 29, 2023 from 6pm-7:30pm

Theme: TBD - An Evening of Broadway Songs

We are keeping this theme general due to some special guests who will be joining us from NYC. We will end up with something like "Some Enchanted Evening - An Evening of Broadway Songs" once we have a song list and can choose a title song for it. For example we could do "Give My Regards to Broadway - An Evening of Broadway Songs)

Performance 2: June 10, 2023 from 6-7:30pm

Theme: Screen to Stage (movies adapted into musicals or vice versa)

ATX Musical Theatre Collective is about to become an LLC! We are NOT a theater company or a non-profit entity. We are a group of friends (professional musicians and actors as well as amateurs) who love theatre and want to make friends. Events like this are opportunities for us to share our music!

Submit 2-3 up-tempo song ideas (or a duet) on the theme. The number of songs accepted per singer is at the discretion of the director. The total number of solos for the concert will be 18, not including opening and closing group numbers.

The venue is paying us enough money to hire a sound engineer for the event. We would like to add bass and drums to these concerts (and pay our pianists!), and are currently looking for sponsors to cover around $400-$600 for each show. Sponsors will be recognized at the live events. We are not totally setup for this yet, but if you have a sponsor suggestion or idea please reach out to Kirsten at atxpianoparties@gmail.com

Ballads will not be considered for the April event. Very long songs will not be considered for this event.

Applications (including video submissions) will close on February 15th at midnight. After the April concert participates have been decided, we will potentially open this form up again (as needed) for MORE June submissions.
