Breakfast
by Warehouse Living Arts Center

Jan. 03 - Jan. 04 (2023)

Breakfast is an intergenerational historical drama, set in Corsicana, Texas on the first day of school integration in 1970. With 17-year old Cora at the center, a series of interconnected, two-person, one-act plays serve up the grits and grit of this small town coming of age story. Inspired by events in rural Texas towns.

Written by Pam C. Dudley
Directed by Alysia HarrisPlaywright Pam C. Dudley: “Corsicana integrated in 1970. Many of those students and teachers are no longer living to tell the story. BREAKFAST is not anyone’s story in particular. It is a fictional story inspired by the courage and pain of those who lived it. I wrote BREAKFAST in hopes that it would help others to look in the mirror, as it did me.”        ~Navarro County Gazette
