Retreat to Bethlehem
by The Great Commission Theatre Company

Oct. 19 - Oct. 30 (2022)

A Jewish villager will guide groups of 20-25 people along the path, explaining why “all” have been called to be “enrolled”. (There will be multiple groups each evening.) Along the journey, audience members will witness the Roman soldiers occupying this land. They will also meet the townspeople, merchants, and innkeepers of this country village. The audience will witness as the Shepherds, Three Wise Men, and Simeon, all share their stories of anticipation for meeting the Messiah.  Mary and Joseph will tell what the angel of the Lord commanded of them.

The Great Commission Theatre is collaborating on a new project spearheaded by SANCTUS RANCH called "Retreat to Bethlehem."  We are looking for actors and actresses to play principal roles in an interactive performance experience about the events leading up to the birth of Christ.
