Pippi Longstocking is a scrappy 9-year-old little girl who asks a lot of questions and always put bullies in their place. Along with a horse on the porch, a monkey in the kitchen and her best friends Tommy and Annika, this freckle faced, red-pigtailed, whirlwind of a girl in mismatched stockings is a delight for both children and adults.

Come One Come ALL to audition for Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren presented by the Austin Scottish Rite Theater! We are currently accepting digital auditions through the month of October. Please submit your audition with your name and a 1-2 minute monologue that you feel best showcases your skills. Also, because this is a digital audition, we invite you to tell us a little bit about yourself!

Thurs/Fri - 10am + 12 pm: Feb 16 - Mar 10

Sat/Sun - 11 am + 1 pm: Feb 18 - Mar 12

 

The show will begin rehearsing in January and will be in full swing beginning mid February through mid March! Thursday - Sunday daytime availability is required once the show opens as this will be when the shows will run.

Pippi Longstocking, opinionated, strong-minded child, with the biggest heart imaginable

Annika Settergren, Pippi’s neighbor/Tommy’s sister

Ms. Pryssileus, A social worker who wants what she thinks is best for Pippi
