Please read all information below carefully

Performers need to prepare one song in the style of the show, 32 bars or a verse and chorus. Please bring tracked music for your audition. (You may also email your track when setting up your audition time slot). We will have Bluetooth connectivity, speakers & computers available for your music. Note an accompanist will not be provided! If you choose, you can audition a capella. It’s not that serious, we just want to see what you can do. Come show off for us!! We are looking for singers and dancers to fill all roles.

Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one. Individuals of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to audition for all roles. Auditions are only for performers 18 and up for this production.

When preparing for the audition please review the musical material of the character you are auditioning for. You may be asked to sing a piece of one of their songs from the show at your audition or at callbacks. Again no pressure, we just want to see what you can do. Speaking of callbacks…please be prepared for the possibility of a call back July 25-26. You will be taught a brief dance combination & may be asked to sing a piece from the show.

To set up your audition time slot please email us at TheHarlequinSA@Yahoo.com

Send us the hour time block you would like to audition and we will do our best to fit you in to that block and respond with your audition time. Please note audition slots will be given on a first come basis.

Rehearsals will begin mid August and are usually scheduled Mondays - Thursdays in the evenings with an occasional weekend rehearsal. We will be as flexible as possible with your schedules! We want this to be fun for all of us!!

Performers will be required to attend all performances & all rehearsals the week leading up to opening unless otherwise approved by the director. Understudies will be cast for all leads in this production.

The show will be directed by Shawn Kjos with the assistance of Robert Olivas & AJ Salazar. Music direction & costume design by Shawn Kjos. Choreography by Sarah Peters.
