Auditions: July 17 at 2:30 pm and July 18, 2022 at 6:30 pm in the Werlein Annex Studio
Performances: September 16 – October 2, 2022
Advance copies of most scripts can be checked out for two days (seriously, two!) at P2K’s VK Garage Theater office, 305 Washington Street.
Characters:
MEG (plays early 30s) – vivacious, full of enormous warmth and a great sense of humor – fresh, unstudied beauty most women would kill for
DUNCAN (plays 40s-50s) – local minister, good man at heart but rather fussy, set in his ways, scatter-brained – lives in his own world
DOC MYERS (plays 50s-60s) – Chief Moose – crusty, likeable curmudgeon, country doctor who takes no guff from nobody
LEO (plays early 40s) – high energy, charming, down on his luck actor who would do anything to make a buck
JACK (plays 30s) – Leo’s younger, somewhat more innocent partner wiling to go along with his crazy schemes
AUDREY (plays 20s) – extremely well-built, sweet, good-natured – a knock-out
BUTCH (plays 20s) – earnest and sincere, a little slow on the uptake but with a good heart
FLORENCE (plays 60s-70s) – very old, extremely crusty, and her eyesight is terrible
