Auditions for a role in Jeeves Takes A Bow with StageCenter Community Theatre on Nov 20 through Nov 21.



Auditions for "Jeeves Takes a Bow" will take place on November 20, 21 2021 at StageCenter Community Theatre's facility at 2 p.m. each day.

Location is: 218 North Bryan Avenue Bryan, Texas.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in so we can begin auditions at 2 p.m.

Auditions consist of cold readings from the script.

Set: A 1930s New York bachelor pad.

We are seeking six actors, four male and two female to staff the show. 

Bertie Wooster: (late 20s to late 30s, proper English accent) charming ineptitude, handsome, upper crust, well off not rich, talent for getting into trouble 

Jeeves:  (30s to 60s, proper English accent) remarkable manservant, one could call almost omnicant,  Intelligent, worldly always understated

Nigel Bingham-Binkersmith a.k.a. (Binky): (late 20s to late 30s, proper English accent) intelligent, but not worldly, doesn't think things out and naive. 

Vivienne Duckworth: (late 20s to late 30s, proper English accent) Intelligent, headstrong, conniving, but not as smart as she should be 

Knuckles" McCann: (30s to 60s, New York, New Jersey typical thugist speech),  Most of his brains are in his muscles, stereotypical 1930s gangster type.

 Luby Leroy: (early 20s to early 30s, Brooklyn accent (Low Class) Ditsy, "Typical Actress" who really has little talent for the stage.

Cast: Ages may be tweaked depending on the talent pool who audition.

It is a fast paced show which is approximately 100 minutes long.

It is a PG rated script, acceptable to audiences of all ages.
