Production will combine live music, dance, community theater -- STICKS & MACHETE FIGHTING -- to bring awareness of Puerto Rico's rich history and uncertain future!

Announcing auditions for roles in an original play featuring a multi-ethnic cast -- adults, all ages, including lively seniors!

Production will combine live music, dance, community theater -- STICKS & MACHETE FIGHTING -- to bring awareness of Puerto Rico's rich history and uncertain future!

Roles of multi-ethnic cast include adults of any ethnicity:* Urban leaders and members* Jibaro / Mountain farmers* Rich Tycoon* Mysterious Ones in hats.

Great volunteer opportunity!

Includes professional Stage Combat training - sticks and machetes - by fighting master Toby Minor!

Community Theatre rehearsals will meet Wednesdays, 6-9:30pm, starting September 15, 2021. Two weeks before production, additional dates will fold actors, dancers, musicians, and fighters together into one exciting musical!!

Fight Training will include special workshops to be professionally trained. Knowledge of Spanish a plus, but not required.

Successful interviews will receive an  in-person audition time by appointment

AUDITION BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Please bring one 2-minute monologue, dramatic or comedic (suitable for all ages) for your in-person audition:* Monday, 6:00pm - Aug 9 & 16* Thursday, 6:30pm - Aug 12 & 19* Saturday, 10:00am - Aug 14 & 21
