What we do: Musical comedy performers needed for several shows with Texas Comedies (www.texascomedies.com). We have a longer-run show scheduled in Austin in September, then several dates in various towns in Texas throughout the year. You might be booked for one show or several, depending on our needs and your availability. Shows are challenging, fun, and a truly unique way to perform and meet people from all over. It pays $200 for an out-of-town show (plus lodging and transportation). It pays a different rate for the in-town shows.

AUDITIONS for MUSICAL COMEDY PEOPLE -- TEXAS COMEDIES
What we need: For the upcoming show, we are looking for two women and one man, 20 - 40. The show is an all-new Boomtown, a musical comedy set in a 1920s Panhandle oil town.
We need comedic actors with stage presence and the ability to sing. Dancing ability is a plus, but not required for all parts.
To accommodate busy schedules, we have a short rehearsal process, so solid stage experience and flexibility are needed.
Rehearsals: For the longer-run Austin shows, we do a few weeks of evening rehearsals, usually 2-3 nights a week plus tech.For the out-of-town shows, we provide video and rehearse two or three nights prior to performance, depending on need.
Performances: The Austin show is September 16 - 25, 2021. The out-of-town shows vary, TBA, starting in the fall.
