Dad was the kind of guy who loved his wife so much, he almost told her so. Since he died ten months ago, he’s got just one shot, the family’s Thanksgiving day gathering, to get the message to her through the only channel he has, his estranged son, Carl. The arrival of mom’s “date” for dinner just complicates things. Set against the frigid backdrop of Wisconsin, the warm feelings finally break through to bring this family closer together than ever.
