Honorable Decisions
by Elizabeth Coplan

Feb. 14 - Feb. 20 (2021)

Review of "Honoring Choices:" "I loved this play because in ~17.5 short minutes it covers an incredible number of end-of-life conversation-related issues, especially in today’s environment. These issues include adult children trying to have a conversation many times with their loved one but failing."

Gracias!

I am casting for the Spanish version of my play "Honoring Choices" to be performed on Zoom. This is the same play I was commissioned to write and produce last February 2020 (before COVID) for Honoring Choices PNW at their annual conference. Additionally we produced several performances on Zoom in the Fall 2020.Now as part of the National Healthcare Decisions Day — April 16, we are performing this show again. This time with a Spanish-speaking cast.

We've cast two of the four actors for this show already. Now I need:

1. An elderly male, father with terminal esophageal cancer for which there is no cure. Although he is told he only has six months to live, he is in denial and doesn’t want to talk about it. (Speaks Spanish)

2. An adult female to play his oldest daughter, (Speaks Spanish and EnglIsh)

We financially compensate for performance and rehearsals. Need to be available in early April for live Zoom performance.

If you know of actor or actors who might be interested in one of these roles, please send me a message. We hope to finish casting this weekend. Actors do not need to be located in Seattle.
