As alcohol sales skyrocket during the quarantine, Alcoholic Anonymous meetings are more important than ever. One AA group decides to meet online, and they come face-to-face with their Zoom and alcohol problems.

We are looking for six performers to flesh out an AA meeting. One counselor and five alcoholics. All ages, genders, and ethnicities welcome to submit for any role! The script is to be devised by you and the creative team. This is an unpaid opportunity.Rehearsals begin November 12. Performance on December 5.

WHAT WE NEED: Your headshot, your resume, and any conflicts during November/December. Please send in a one-minute video of you as one of the characters giving your backstory. Who are you? Why are you here? Are you even sober right now? Get creative! Keep in mind, even though we are dealing with a heavy concept, we want this to be a light-hearted piece.

Please submit all material by November 2 to anemptyroomtheatreproject@gmail.com. We will be in contact to schedule "Get To Know You" interviews for selected participants. We will be reviewing the auditions as they come in, so get them in as soon as you can!
