We got the beat! It's YOUR 1985 class reunion. Party back to when we were living in a material world of scrunchies, shoulder pads, and parachute pants. Reunion '85 is a totally immersive concert experience. Whether Pretty in Pink or Risky Business, Preppy or New Wave, discover who you were back in the day. Grab a funky cold medina, cut footloose to the live band rocking the 80's hits, and party all night long with the class of 1985. It's the time of your life!

ZACH Theatre is currently seeking talented singer/musicians of all ethnicities for the upcoming mainstage production of Reunion'85. Due to the current COVID – 19 restrictions audition video submissions will be accepted in lieu of in person auditions.

REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

Rehearsals begin May 5, 2020. Performances begin May 26, 2020, and closes on June 28, 2020, with six to seven shows per week: Tuesdays through Sundays at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sundays at 2:30pm.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

To submit, please send an email to auditions@zachtheatre.org with the subject line that reads:

“Your full name – Reunion Musician Submission”

Musicians should film a 30 second vocal cut from one of the 80’s anthems listed below and accompany themselves on the instrument they are most proficient in. Please also include in the email a photo of yourself and summary of your experience and qualifications, or resume, as well as any band reels or additional performance footage.

DRUMMER – solid pop and rock, great time, familiar with click track BASS – solid pop and rock, vocals
GUITAR – electric groove and shredding soloist, vocals
GUITAR 2/KEYS 2 – rhythm player, vocals

KEYS 1/ MD – conductor, pop rock player and soloist, vocals
