Casting for multiple light musical comedies for Texas Comedies (based in Austin)
We are doing several out-of-town dates throughout the next year, and we are looking for musical comedy performers!
Currently, one male and one female actor are needed. Comedy skills, connecting with an audience, and the ability to sing are needed. Ideally people with light musical comedy experience. Some movement ability is a plus, but not crucial.
Typically, you’ll learn a role from the script, demos and a performance video, join us for very quick rehearsals, then do the show that weekend. It’s fun, very different from typical shows, and there’s a decent pay guarantee.
Doing auditions in early December (actual dates to be determined).
