TAIL END CHARLIE, A NEW PLAY
Tail End Charlie is a new, original dramatic thriller taking place in post-WW2 Illinois and follows the story of Robert Dobson, a young Captain, as he returns home to his wife and brother and a family business waiting for him to take over.
AUDITION NOTICE
Haymaker Players will be accepting audition videos for our initial first round of open call auditions for our premiere production of “Tail End Charlie.”
As this is an original production we are looking for gifted actors who will also be collaborative as the script will likely be edited and reworked in real time. But, if cast, you will be listed as the original actor to play these roles.
This is a PAID position.
HOW TO AUDITION
In order to submit an audition, please prepare a dramatic contemporary monologue, no longer than 2 minutes, and submit a video of that monologue, headshot, and resume to info@haymayplay.com NO LATER THAN APRIL 20TH.
Callbacks will be held on a weekend in late April.
REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES
Rehearsals will begin the week of July 15th. The production will open at Trinity Street Players Theater in Austin on August 23rd, 2019 and will close on September 8th. It will be a 3-week run for a total of 9 performances.
