Austin Latino New Play Festival

Teatro Vivo is seeking performers for the ninth annual Austin Latino New Play Festival(ALNPF), presented in collaboration with ScriptWorks. The ALNPF provides an opportunity for four playwrights to develop their original works. The ALNPF will be April 18-20, 2019.

Teatro Vivo is auditioning to fill 30+ roles available to men and women ages 14 and up. Knowledge of Spanish for some roles is a plus, but not required. The plays require actors of all ethnicities. Actors should prepare both a comedic and a dramatic monologue, each approximately 1-2 minutes in length. Those with no experience are encouraged to audition.

Please come prepared with a headshot or photo. You may also bring a resume (optional).

Production Schedule:

Rehearsals: April 8-17, Monday through Friday, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Performances: April 18-20. Each evening will feature a different play (two plays presented on Saturday).
