Black Girl Love: An Adaptation Project
by Generic Ensemble Company

Mar. 02 - Mar. 03 (2019)

The Generic Ensemble Company seeks Black women and trans performers to participate in black girl love: an adaptation project, adapted by Alaina Monts, based on a series of short stories by Anondra "Kat" Williams. The piece works at the everyday lives of black queer women and non-binary people -- our relationships to love, sex, and obsession.

Queer and trans artists particularly encouraged to audition. Paid. The show runs 6/7-22 with rehearsals beginning late-March. Part of GenEnCo's co-production with The VORTEX.

Directed by kt shorb. Email kt [at] genenco [dot] org with headshot and resume if you intent to audition. Acting experience a plus but not required.
