🎭AUDITIONS🎭

The Harlequin is hosting auditions for “A Piece of my Heart”. 

Auditions will be held:
Wednesday, February 20th, 2019 from 7 – 9 pm.
Thursday, February 21st from 7 – 9 pm.

Auditions are open to the public!! Any civilian (non-military) wishing to audition need only be added to our gate list for access to Ft. Sam Houston. For gate access, please email robertjolivas@live.com two days prior to your audition date. 

Please prepare a 2-5-minute dramatic monologue and expect cold readings from the script. Sides are available upon request.

Characters Needed:
Martha (20s-40s) – Strong, self-composed, aura of self-discipline, military bearing. Strong face, American, almost pioneer in feeling.

MaryJo (20s-30s) – Pretty, outgoing, bubbly personality. Texas accent. Sexy; a funny comedienne quality; but sad inside. Looking for a skilled singer, guitarist a plus. 

Sissy (20s-40s) – Sweet, feminine, outgoing. Sense of fun. Also, a sense of harmony and warmth to personality.

Whitney (20s-40s) – Tall, slender, withdrawn, contained. Very aristocratic in bearing and quality. A Vassar graduate. 

Leeann (20s-40s) – Asian or Amerasian. Attractive. Strong, tough, determined in nature. An urban, hip quality to her personality.

Steele (20s-40s) – African American. Extremely strong, military bearing. Very intelligent, outgoing, great sense of humor. A pragmatist. Southern.

The American Men (20s-40s) – Versatile actors needed for a verity of roles. Very American looking.
