River City Pops, Austin's premier show choir, consists of talented people who love what they do and strive to do it well, with the pride of being the only artistic society of its type in Central Texas. After witnessing or participating in a River City Pops production, patrons and members leave the theater and go into the night with more than just the memories of the performance … they have added to the history, carrying that musical magic into the future.

Audition for Austin's Premier Show Choir, River City Pops! We are a group of about 25 performers who love to sing and dance. Our members currently range from twenty-somethings to forty-somethings, from teachers to health professionals to engineers, from local theater stars to performance enthusiasts. We put on two big shows at the Long Center each year. Come sing and dance with us, you won't regret it!
Auditions are September 4 and September 5, 2018 from 7 p.m. at Koenig Lane Christian Church, 908 Old Koenig Ln, Austin, TX 78756-1507. (click for map)
Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song (memorized, please) that showcases your vocal range, performance talents, and personality. Uptempo preferred, rock/pop/musical theatre preferred. Accompanist will be provided. There will be a movement combination with leveling options for trained dancers. Please bring or wear something you can dance in comfortably.
