Aug. 04 - Aug. 05 (2018)

At a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

Auditions will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 2-5:30 pm and Sunday, August 5th, 6:30-10 pm.  Auditions will be held in the Palace Education and Performance Center 216 W 8th Street. Georgetown TX 78626 (around the corner from the Palace Theatre).

Come prepared to perform a 1-2 minute talk. It can be telling a joke, a monologue or reciting a poem. I’m looking for comedic timing, highs and lows, controlled body movement. This show has a lot of Snark! Show me that you have these abilities through your audition. This is a Farce, so the show is fast-paced with deliberate actions by larger than life characters who are also real people with real feelings.
