River City Pops (RCP) presents our annual show at the Long Center (Rollins Studio Theatre) each spring. This show, performed with a full live band, is fully staged, fully choreographed, and fully exciting! In addition to our spring show, we perform various gigs all over the Central Texas community throughout the year. We are also working on exciting new programming this season, including a holiday show at Rollins, performances at the Four Seasons, holiday caroling, and much more.
River City Pops is holding open auditions for a few select spots in our premier performing group. Auditions only happen once a year, so don't miss this opportunity!
For your audition, please prepare and memorize 16-32 bars of a song that showcases your vocal range, performance talents, and personality. Uptempo rock, pop, or musical theatre selections are preferred. An accompanist will be provided, so please bring a copy of your sheet music if necessary. There will also be a movement combination with leveling options for trained dancers. Please bring or wear something you can dance in comfortably. We are currently looking to fill slots for all voice parts, so sign up for an audition time and come join us!
